Rajmudra Architects was entrusted with the landscape design and thematic development of BALI IXORA, a premium plotting scheme located in Mandavane, Karjat. The project was envisioned as a distinctive residential destination inspired by the timeless beauty, tranquility, and tropical charm of Balinese architecture and landscapes.
The objective was to create a memorable and immersive environment that offers residents and visitors a resort-like experience from the moment they enter the development. Every landscape element was carefully designed to reflect the essence of Bali through the use of natural materials, lush plantation, water-centric spaces, and thoughtfully curated outdoor amenities.
Design Approach
- Designing a grand Bali-inspired entrance gateway that establishes a strong visual identity and creates a memorable arrival experience for visitors
- Developing elegant stone-paved internal roads that enhance the tropical character of the plotting scheme while improving the overall aesthetic appeal
- Incorporating avenue plantation and landscape lighting along the road network to create visually engaging and comfortable circulation spaces throughout the development
- Planning a resort-style swimming pool as a central recreational feature that encourages relaxation and social interaction among residents
- Designing a traditional Balinese-style pagoda that serves as a focal architectural element and gathering space within the landscape
- Creating comfortable seating areas around the pool zone, offering residents spaces to unwind and enjoy the surrounding tropical environment
- Enhancing the scheme boundaries through plantation along the compound wall, providing greenery, privacy, and a well-defined landscape edge
- Utilizing carefully selected trees, shrubs, and ornamental plantation to reinforce the Bali-inspired theme and create a rich, immersive landscape experience
- Establishing a harmonious balance between recreational amenities, circulation spaces, and natural landscape elements to create a cohesive master-planned environment
