The objective of the project was to create a welcoming and nature-inspired hospitality environment that enhances the guest experience while preserving and integrating the existing natural elements present on the site.
The landscape design was carefully developed around the existing coconut trees, allowing the mature vegetation to become an integral part of the overall design language. The project focused on creating attractive outdoor spaces for relaxation, recreation, and social interaction while maintaining a strong connection with nature throughout the property.
Design Approach
- Preserving and integrating the existing coconut trees into the landscape design to maintain the site’s natural character and visual identity
- Designing pedestrian walkways that guide visitors through the property while creating a pleasant and immersive outdoor experience
- Enhancing pathways with ornamental trees, shrubs, decorative creepers, and landscape lighting to create an inviting ambiance during both day and evening hours
- Developing elegant pergola walkways that provide shade, visual interest, and a memorable transition between different areas of the hotel
- Creating lush green lawn spaces that accommodate outdoor seating arrangements and dining experiences for hotel guests
- Designing dedicated pergola seating areas that offer comfortable spaces for relaxation amidst the landscaped surroundings
- Incorporating terracotta feature walls complemented by plantation to introduce warmth, texture, and a distinctive architectural character to the landscape
- Utilizing natural stone walls and landscape elements to establish a rustic and nature-inspired aesthetic that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment
- Providing recreational spaces for families by integrating children’s play elements such as seesaws and outdoor activity zones within the landscape
